- The Tenmours

Alex, Ross and Adam, The Tenmours present an intimate concert performance sharing their stories behind the music and life on the road busking around the country and fitting in festival appearances while studying at opposite ends of the Country.
The Tenmours are a Folk Fusion band from Skipton, North Yorkshire. They take influences from both modern pop music and traditional Celtic music, creating a unique and exciting sound that will appeal to lovers of music of any genre.
The band consists of the powerful vocals and guitar of Alex Johnston-Seymour, the virtuoso fiddle playing of Ross Tennant and the versatility of the accomplished pianist and percussionist Adam Hopkins.

Younger Than Springtime - A Musical Variety Concert

It’s Spring again and what better way to celebrate than an evening of Springtime inspired music! The programme will included favourites from the music hall stage such as We’ll gather lilacs in the Spring again, Somewhere over the rainbow and a selection of popular music from the hit parade and West End stage. Enjoyable performances by a variety of young and young at heart musicians from across the Dales.

The evening was presented by Colin Bailey and special thanks go to all our performers who gave their time to support the evening.

Rich Marsh (plus guests)

Richmond based guitarist Richard Marsh makes his debut appearance at Leyburn Arts and Community Centre.

Rich picked up the guitar at primary school and hasn’t looked back! He is no stranger to the local music scene and is best known as lead guitarist and vocalist in his band One2Three4 and tribute band The Status Crows. As a session musician he is first call for numerous bands in the area who need to deputise for regular members.

He is proud to be one of the few musicians to play every Barn That Rocks (held near Leyburn) as well as appearing regularly at festivals and music nights across the North East.

Rich, and guests, will perform an acoustic evening of popular music including hits songs from artists such as the Eagles, Bryan Adams, Status Quo and many more Rock ‘n’ Roll favourites.

Bob, Jess and guests

Bob and Jess are best known for their innovative presentations of popular songs and giving them a creative twist. This might be giving an easy listening ballad a change in tempo or adding a reggae vibe – but will you know what they have done?

From classics such as Jammin’ (Bob Marley) to instant hits like I’m Not The Only One (Sam Smith) this intimate performance celebrates the launch of their debut CD ‘The Zoo’(2015) and gives a sneak preview of some of their own original songs from their forthcoming second album.

From Blues and Country to Swing and Rock & Roll this concert promises to have something for everyone to enjoy. Featuring hits by legends such as Elvis, BB King, Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison and many more.
Colin is joined by Toby Pearson (Guitar), Rob Tweddle (Keys, Guitar and Vocals), Will Stockbridge (Bass) and Simon Chorley (Drums and Vocals).

Millefleur and Richmond Jazz Quartet

Richmond based young musicians and composers Oliver Carr and Evie Wright, Millefleur, present an evening of electro-acoustic music featuring songs from their debut CD of the same title. Tracks from their albumn have been featured on BBC introducing radio broadcasts in Teeside and West Yorkshire.

They will be joined on stage by members ofRichmond Jazz Quartet [Rob Tweddle (Piano), Tom Knox (Guitar), Zak Hornby (Bass) and Adam Heseltine (Drums)] to perform a programme of Jazz and Country influenced standards and original material. For more information visit ‘Millefleur’ on facebook.
