Join community musicians for some fun-filled creative music-making. Sessions can be tailored to primary, secondary school aged children (six to eleven years old and upwards) and community events. Samba Sambalearn some Sambae Reggae beats and be part of a Samba band in no time at all!
Get Musical Jam Bandchoose your part as we learn a popular song to perform during and at the end of the session. If you play an instrument there is an opportunity to play along, sing or add percussion as part of the band.
Get Musical is part of the NYMAZ Youth Music Programme for North Yorkshire. NYMAZ provides high quality music-making activities for young people who might not otherwise have the opportunity. NYMAZ is funded by the National Foundation for Youth Music. [www.nymaz.org.uk] These Workshops have also received funding from The Roger Stott Community Fund and The Elmtree Trust.
